SAFA and adidas Unveil New 2026/27 Home Kit for Bafana Bafana & Banyana Banyana

The South African Football Association (SAFA) and adidas have officially revealed the new 2026/27 home jersey for South Africa’s senior national football teams, Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana. 

The updated strip stays true to South Africa’s iconic yellow and green colours, inspired by the memorable 2010 FIFA World Cup kit, while incorporating modern performance technology such as adidas’ CLIMACOOL+ fabric to enhance player comfort and breathability on the pitch.

A standout feature of the design is its celebration of South Africa’s diversity, with subtle graphic elements representing the nation’s 12 official languages woven into the fabric. adidas and SAFA have also emphasised customised fits for both men’s and women’s teams, underscoring a commitment to elevating both squads equally.

SAFA CEO Lydia Monyepao said the launch comes at a thrilling time, with Banyana Banyana set to debut the new kit at the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and Bafana Bafana due to wear it at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. 

The new home jersey will be available from 20 March 2026 at adidas stores, online, and through selected retailers nationwide.

Kianna Underwood, Former Nickelodeon Star, Killed in Brooklyn Hit-and-Run

Kianna Underwood, a former child actress known for her work on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series All That and the animated show Little Bill, has died at age 33 after being struck in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, New York.
