Seahawks Triumph in Super Bowl LX

In a thrilling night of football, the Seattle Seahawks captured their second Super Bowl title by defeating the New England Patriots 29–13 in Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Seattle’s victory marked a dramatic turnaround from past heartbreak — most notably avenging their narrow loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX over a decade earlier.

A relentless Seattle defense set the tone, pressuring Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and disrupting New England’s offense throughout the game. Running back Kenneth Walker III starred, rushing for 135 yards and becoming the first running back in nearly three decades to earn Super Bowl MVP honors.

Quarterback Sam Darnold managed the Seahawks’ offense with poise, connecting on key plays including a touchdown pass to AJ Barner, while kicker Jason Myers contributed a record-setting five field goals.

Beyond the win on the field, the Super Bowl was a cultural event — with performances by Bad Bunny at halftime and a star-studded crowd soaking in the celebration.

This title run cements the Seahawks’ status as one of the NFL’s premier teams in 2026, closing a season filled with strong defense, signature wins, and a championship finish.
