Indiana Could Be College Football’s Next Dynasty Under Curt Cignetti

After years of struggles, **Indiana University football has exploded onto the national stage, and many now believe the Hoosiers are poised to become the next dynasty in college football under head coach Curt Cignetti. 

Cignetti, who arrived in Bloomington with decades of coaching experience including a formative stint under Nick Saban at Alabama, has reshaped a program long mired in losing into a disciplined, championship-caliber team. His approach—emphasizing fundamentals, physical play along the line of scrimmage, and relentless preparation—bears echoes of the culture that powered Alabama’s run of dominance.

In the 2025 season, Indiana completed an astonishing 16-0 undefeated campaign capped by a victory in the College Football Playoff national championship. Led by Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, the Hoosiers’ balanced offense and suffocating defense toppled traditional powerhouses and won over fans nationwide. 

Recruiting momentum has also shifted. Top prospects who once overlooked Indiana are now committing to Bloomington, attracted by the promise of competing for titles and Cignetti’s rising profile. 

While it’s too soon to declare an Alabama-level dynasty, the foundation is unmistakably in place. With strong leadership, smart recruiting, and a culture of excellence, Indiana football’s rapid ascent suggests a new era of sustained success could be on the horizon.

Kianna Underwood, Former Nickelodeon Star, Killed in Brooklyn Hit-and-Run

Kianna Underwood, a former child actress known for her work on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series All That and the animated show Little Bill, has died at age 33 after being struck in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, New York.
